Have you ever been in a situation where all seems to grow dark? The darkness is not that of the day (as in night), but where all roads seem blocked to get out of a dire situation. Sometimes, we seek other means to get out of our situation, addictions and problems, but silence reigns all through. Everywhere all over the world, and every day, some happenings bring us to the edge of questioning if God answers prayers. The earth is travailing right now and the blood being spilled daily is enough for nature to revolt against humans. Someone who genuinely cares about the earth will not be happy about events that are happening, and no one can care about the earth more than her Creator. Often, we who are called by His name find ourselves in similar situations where we either lose loved one or we are struggling to put our lives together. The question is: Is there any solution to things going on in our world or happening to us? Many have questioned me why answers to prayers tarry? Apostle Paul who was once made uncomfortable by a messenger of satan (this will be revealed in one of our series) prayed thrice, and there seems to be no answer. At the climax of it, the Lord told him, “My grace is sufficient for you.” I think we also need to learn from the Lord’s response to Paul- His grace is sufficient for us all to overcome any circumstances in life. There are wars and rumors of wars all over the planet, but God is saying to each and every one of us in these dark times- My grace is sufficient for you all. We need to tap into the gracious anointing and seek by prayer that the Lord should release angels of grace that can aid us to escape the troubles that lie ahead or in the present.
One day, I remembered eight years ago, meditating about certain things in the world of men and how the system of this world has configured us to think in a certain way. God told me by His Spirit that most of the things we consider as problems are no problems. It is just that we lack the strength to live by faith, for by flesh shall no man prevail. The Lord said one thing to me I can never forget, “Son, when I touch your sight, you won’t see as the world sees. You will begin to see as I see things and how vain the things of this world are.” Truly, we should all begin to see as the Lord see things and our situation will turn around. Even though all seems to grow dark, but one of the Psalmist said concerning our Father,
If we have our sight changed and behave like God, we shall see a way through a bricked wall. It takes a spirit to see a way through a wall and walk through, but a man of the flesh cannot because he has not been empowered. We need empowerment to have our nature changed from being earthy to being spiritual. All the things happening in your world only takes a change of nature to turn things around. We should not allow the world to define how we see but see it the way God see things. The system of the world has taught men how to see things for ages; only a few has broken the chain of sight which determines how far someone can go on a spiritual walk. What affects our world: the greed, the wars, the crimes, sorrows, robbery, defiance, evils, good, love, hate, etc. are determined by the spirit of sight. Same goes with terrorist bombing here and there. Darkness is sight, light is sight, but both are the servants of knowledge. As the years roll away day after day, let us press towards attaining the sight of God. All may seem to grow dark wherever we are, but we should believe in the words said to our beloved brother, Apostle Paul and make a prayer no matter how devastating the situation. A word of prayer can release angels of help on your behalf. Greetings from the second heaven.
