The question whether the EU will die slowly after BREXIT has been surfacing in some quarters. This is as a result of the referendum taken in the UK between Jun 23 & 24. The BREXIT vote came in as 48.1% & 51.9%. That is, 48% of people in the United Kingdom voted to remain in the European Union, while approximately 52% voted to leave the EU. This is getting interesting as various considerations from different quarters are emerging concerning adverse implications of this vote. The UK currency is down as at the writing of this post (which has never happened since 1985), and there's uncertainty in the financial markets about what is coming despite assurance from the government as predictive woes were dished out following the exit from EU. However, the governor of the Bank of England has issued out a statement to calm down the financial markets. Also, David Cameron, the prime minister of UK have decided to step down following the vote for Exit. He said the United Kingdom needs fresh leadership after exiting the EU. Now, this referendum is historical and despite different theories from various angles, we won't tread this path. Scribe of Righteousness wants to view it from the spiritual perspective and how this relates to the end of time and the convergence of the saints.
Brexit and the end of the age
Now that some of the citizens have voted out of the European Union, what are we to expect? How does this relate to the end of the age? Starting with the first question: what are we to expect? To be truthful, I will say, expect anything. Yes, the physical realm is so unstable now with the reality of this result, and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel said the European Union is still strong. Is it? With the exit of UK from the Union, there is already a crack in the head of the Beast. What do I mean there is a crack in the head of the Beast? Well, we’re coming there. Angela Merkel may be right due to the position of Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon to initiate a second referendum for Scotland to leave the United Kingdom. The reason is that Scotland voted massively to stay in the EU. Now, a lot of people are saying there is every possibility that Scotland will leave UK for EU because of the EXIT. Political analysts said this will be catastrophic, and we will likely be left with ‘little England.’ Is that so? Anyway, time also will reveal all things. I think as an Ecclesian; you have a picture of what is happening: UK leaves EU, Scotland wants to leave the UK and return to EU; EU is disturbed with other EXITS.
However, the BREXIT saga has triggered a biblical prophecy that is an insignia to the coming of the Lawless One. If the European Union is truly the Beast our dearest brother, Apostle John mentioned in the book of Revelation, then know that the nationalists in the UK who ‘took back their country’ has done one of these three things:
(a) They have triggered the prophecy of the death of the BEAST by BREXIT (if not);
(b) Then Boris Johnson and his followers have actually saved us by buying us time to increase our walk in the Spirit; or
(c) The BEAST has not yet emerged, and BREXIT will birth it because it will comprise of 10 kingdoms.
Okay, we hope you get the drift now and what we are up against? Forget about market downturns, and focus on how to save your soul because there is no time any longer. Let’s rearrange the thoughts above…We know the BEAST is 10 Kingdoms, right (according to bible scholars)? Right now, the EU is more than 10 nations (around 28). In other words, before the BEAST can emerge, it must combine the strength of the Empires that have once ruled the earth right from the days of Nebuchadnezzer (we mentioned something about this last week). If EU dies a slow death and disintegrates as a result of BREXIT, then know that the big bad boy will emerge thereafter---coming better, stronger and powerful. If UK does not leave EU, some European nations will still leave…it’s inevitable. It seems the UK just championed it. Right now, the BEAST is in its morphing stage and not complete but remember, God said He will do a quick work and cut it short in righteousness. If Scotland and some Kingdoms in the UK eventually returned to EU and left the United Kingdom, then know that they are the part which shall form the BEAST, excluding England and the rest that remains.
The question remains if EU will die a slow death because of BREXIT? Two answers are involved: It might, it may not. If it is the former, then know we bought ourselves additional time before the beast emerges. If it is the latter, then the BEAST will simply shed of its useless snakeskin and put on another beautiful side of the useful one. It will cling to the ones that fit its formation of becoming the perfect machine for the kill and rule the jungle of this world.
