Often, when I follow news around the world, either via CNN, EuroNews or Aljazeera, I quiver at the extent of man’s inhumanity to man. The extent of terror unleashed daily is unimaginable, excluding deaths that are happening daily via crimes, organ harvesting, rape, human trafficking, and any other vices you can think of in the realm of men. Sometimes, I get worried in the corner of my room anytime I see my fellow kind behaving less than what God expected of our race. It’s not just disheartening but shameful. Recently, Intelligence operatives gave a warning that Euro 2016 and other events in Europe coming this summer can be potential terror targets. These are one of the few things troubling us in the world of men. Watching the events happening around us in the world, I can’t but think about the prophecies of Isaiah on the Scriptures that darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people. It is not mistaken to say we have not entered into the terrain of what is called ‘gross darkness,’ but we are moving closer. The human race is almost there.
I remembered being in the gathering of the saints more than five years ago. I will not forget what the minister said to us about pressing into the Spirit to be safe. He said, “…ten years from now, what kind of man do you think people will become if they are not coming into the light of God? (Silence)… They will become another kind of human being, and you too should be ready to become another kind of human being in God.” Right now, the ten years span hasn’t elapsed, and if you’re watchful as the Lord implore us to, you can see a strange form of darkness and sophistication growing in people. It is a bad time to be caught sleeping concerning spiritual matters. Everywhere you turn, there is this stench of spiritual deceit ongoing, and it is massive. As an Ecclesian, what are we supposed to do in a time like this? Is the earth dark and full of terrors?
Anyway, the look of things confirmed it…the earth is indeed dark and full of terrors. This is the dark season, and only the light of the Lord Jesus pushes back darkness. Of course, you know the darkness is not daylight darkness as you know darkness to be but agendas from the machination of satan. There are a lot of things going on that can make you terrified about what people are evolving into, but the words of our Lord unto Apostle Paul can strengthen us, My grace is sufficient for you.
Dear Ecclesians, it is time to become another kind of human being in God. Being another kind of human being in God is becoming pillars of Truth and ebullient light of the Father. We should know that war is coming…darkness is preparing her soldiers…what can we say about light? Are you ready to volunteer for heaven and get trained in preparation for the approaching ‘gross darkness’? Time is not waiting…let all Ecclesians render the chant- Faithful and True is our Lord!
