It's not strange in a world seeming to be overrun by logic and unbelief regarding the collection of the Scriptures as a book of fantasy. The Word of God compiled in a Book called the Bible by those who are people of the Way has consistently been made a mockery of as a book churned out of the imagination of some long dead folks whose mission is to twist the mind with fear and lock it in ignorance. These sets of them that see it as fiction is not a new trend. In fact, their kind has been in existence for centuries and ages. Although it shouldn't surprise us that checking the social media, and reading comments when something in the Scriptures is mentioned, some attacked it vehemently with their unbelief and hatred. Of course, Ecclesians should understand that it's not easy, and realistically, believe pieces of writings glued together and unveil its author as a Supreme Deity who lives in a world far far away. Why does this Ecclesians' book looks crazy to people who are not convinced by it? Well, it is a crazy world indeed, and whoever wants to tap into the resources of the crazy must believe in that which looks 'crazy.' In times past, telling an 18th-century folk that it's possible to get to the moon or outer space sounds crazy enough, but it took some 'crazy' scientists from Russia, and afterward the US to prove to the world that it is real. Centuries back, people die of infections, and little is known concerning things that are the actual cause, but right now, with the aid of a microscope, bacterias can be seen but before now, they live in a 'Realm of the Unseen' which is still terrestrial and earthly.
Now, if same applies to these things, don't you think the Scriptures are more than just stories? It sure sounds like the story of Tinker Bell, the Good Witch and Evil Queen of the West, but it's definitely more than that. Okay, some may say science helped us to discover these things and not some mumbo jumbo carved out from the jungle of Asia and the East. Actually, science didn't help us to discovered these things; a measure of faith did. With faith and some resilience of these scientists, they made a breakthrough which to some in centuries past are mumbo jumbos. It took faith for someone to believe that this thing must work some way some how; same with someone who tried producing the proper model for an electric bulb after trying 1000 times. The thing is you may not wait that long before you crack the world of the Scriptures. Before you can enter into the world of the Scriptures and see the truth as it is, and know it is not a fairy or some cooked up stories, you need to come with a measure of faith. You got to be like these scientists who believed in the impossible because they knew some secrets about the mysteries of this world to achieve their aim. You might believe in science and not in God, but have you ever thought you're rightly behaving like those in centuries past who deem the scientific breakthroughs we now have impossible. Have you ever (for once) thought Man may not have the necessary thing to open up the world of the Scriptures like those in the scientific arena? In fact, the Scriptures portrays the civilization of humankind as primitive and outdated. Being a part of the superior civilization mentioned in the Scriptures requires a document which is not physical (it's a thing of the soul and heart) - He that comes to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seeks Him. The thing is the two italicized word in this quote- believe and diligent were the two elements the scientists you are proud of employed. They don't just believe (faith) but were diligent (they were persistent, not giving up because they want to experience the impossible and ideas they saw...)
Another knockout is that you have no right to give up on the Scriptures (Bible) and God if you have not diligent seek Him. People say He's not real but have you sought Him out on a personal level and conviction and not what you just think it is? Remember, Thomas Edison tried 1000 times before he could achieve his aim; you may not even try up to that before He opens up to you. The key is diligence. Don't tell me He doesn't exist if you haven't worked in diligence to seek out the 'unseen.' Remember, if Edison had listened to mockers about his invention; perhaps we wouldn't have what we enjoy today, or another would have enjoyed the fame, status, and privileges he received. He changed his formula in approaching his invention before he got it right; perhaps you're getting it wrong through your positioning, and approach towards the 'Scriptures that looks crazy.' To all in the realm of men; let's cast aside every unbelief, tap into the hidden secrets and riches of the Scriptures and enter into the unseen world of God. Selah.
