The Gospel of the Kingdom (2 of 3)

                                     

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14)

In the last episode, we discussed the meaning of the gospel of the kingdom and what will bring about the end to the realm of men. The appearance of witnesses is vital, and it is a sign of the end of things. As Ecclesians, we all can see what is happening in our realm and sphere- how human blood are spilled at an alarming rate, the outrageous rise in crime, wars and the rumors of it, deceit, madness (calling evil good and good evil)... All these are referred to as the forerunners of the end. Knowing the timeline in the event of the spirit is important. Looking at the Isis war, Boko Haram war, the Syrian war.. all spanning into years, the fear of terrorism, rumors of economic wars in the form of sanctions between powerful nations, fear of retaliation... the string of events go on and on. All these cramped together can send fear down the spine of the faint-hearted; even those who have faith. With all these happening, what is the hope of the people of the Way in all that's happening in our world? Are we to fear that the end is upon us all? God forbid, for people of the light are not to fear that which is coming because we are not in darkness; for those in darkness are caught unaware by the events of the dark but we who consistently stay in the light see things as they are, and what to do in the season of things. The Lord has made us wise concerning things of the past, and of the present we understand, same with the future we foresee what shall be. Let's consider the warnings of the Lord and what part the gospel of the kingdom have to play:

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet

Notice the bolded part from the writing of Matthew. This means all these vices are 'starters' before the real thing comes. The Lord said affirmatively that:

1) You will hear of these vices (with the advent of channels, satellite TVs, Internet, smartphones, social media; we all get to know what's happening in the world).
2) Do not be troubled when you see these happening.
3) These vices are necessary because it's been foretold by holy prophets through the Spirit of God. God sees through into the future and saw the decadence that shall befall the human race at the end of days.
4) With all these, no matter how bad it gets; the shocker is the end is not yet.

After considering these four truths, then what's actually missing to wind up the era of time and bring about the Kingdom of Christ which will put an end to the system men has put in place? The Lord said many things after this, but the most powerful statement is that the message of the kingdom shall be administered to all nations, and the end will come. This means there's a message that the kingdom has been passing out since ages which men failed to listen to and learn. Jesus, who is the Christ, said, "And this..." Meaning the apostles have been listening to a message called the message of the kingdom which is the gospel. They have been blessed with a 'Christo blessing' because the Lord has been feeding them Christ, not the message of how to keep shekels and accumulate it in Herod's bank. Why? The Christ message is to prepare them for two things: the emerging kingdom and the end.

Dear Ecclesians, whoever doesn't have the gospel of the kingdom or Christo message inbuilt in him cannot withstand the end and will not be able to handle the emerging kingdom efficiently. Therefore, it's germane we people of the Way continuously build and build till we are a reflection of the Gospel of the kingdom. This will bear witness to those around without we speaking orally, for there's something in us voicing out from the earth to the heavens, and testifying concerning the kingdom to the realm of men. Now, you will understand the condemnation written by John, that whoever doesn't believe has been condemned already after seeing these things.

What's it to know about the end and why is hearing the gospel of the kingdom very crucial? This shall be discussed in the final episode of this revelation of the scriptures. May the presence of the Lord be with us all and never depart from His children. Amen.
