And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14)
The gospel of the Kingdom is an issue that Ecclesians or Christians have merely scratched but not touched. We have been so used to sermons, organized preaching and religiously correct admonitions that have been absent-mindedly constructed over the years in Ecclesia’s tradition. The topic has simply been forgotten; perhaps believers of the Way simply do not know what the gospel of the Kingdom entails. Without much ado on the subject, gospel simply means ‘good news,’ at least in the literal sense. It is about what Jesus did for us on the cross and the gift of salvation. However, the good news of the Kingdom encompasses so many things that cannot be unveiled in a single swoop. As seen in the epigraph above which is taken from the good news according to Matthew, before the end of our world will come, two things must have occurred. First, the gospel of the Kingdom must be preached; second…it must be witnessed to all nations. In other words, not a single iota of nations must escape the coming gospel. So, what will bring about the end or the apocalypse is this gospel of the Kingdom. It can also be called the gospel of Christ. The reason it is called the good news of the Kingdom is that it is indeed good, and good news at that. If you do not hear what Ecclesians called ‘Good News,’ then you are hearing another gospel which our beloved brother, Apostle Paul warned us about. The thing is you cannot know what the Kingdom calls Good except you’ve seen it, and it has been revealed to you. Apostle Paul once taught the gospel of the Pharisees was actually GOOD until he met the author of a superior gospel, and he exclaimed, I’m the worst of all sinners.
Now, some Ecclesians thinks that what makes good news good is avoiding the topic of hell, being politically correct, not wanting to hurt the feelings of others that are disobeying the clear and precise commandments of Jesus. The thought of people won’t come to the gathering of the saints if you lash out or rebuke them; so let’s preach a compromising message of the Kingdom. I call it the compromising message of the Kingdom because it lacks the element of truth; one of the crucial ingredients meant to equip the saints for the days ahead. So, when Apostle Paul met this Gospel, he was blinded by Him- the glorious light first formatted the eyes of the Pharisaic gospel. Wait a minute; you called the gospel Him? Yes, because Jesus, who is the Christ, is the Gospel that is meant to be unveiled. The gospel of the kingdom is beyond He died for you; those are good, but this entails unveiling the Father to His sons and children. This good news must be witnessed to all nations; they must see it, and be left with the choice to accept it or not. Those who will preach the gospel of the Kingdom which is the gospel of Truth will have the ability to unveil the Kingdom to people. It is beyond the usual tales of you’re going to heaven. No, these witnesses will make men see the Kingdom because they have become the Gospel men can actually read and discern. When these men start appearing on the scene of the earth; then know the end is not near, it will come. It won’t be the usual the end is near crew. It will turn to the end is here. For the gospel of the Kingdom of God to be witnessed to all nations, that should tell you something profound- those that will champion such gospel are witnesses. They can witness Christ, and Him crucified (this is another realm entirely in the good news of the Kingdom of Christ).
